At CrossFit Lewes we are all about results. 

But let's face it – you can do two WODs a day, seven days a week – but if you don't eat a healthy, "clean diet", you are not going to see the results.

What does eating clean mean? Basically, it means trying to limit (or eliminate) your intake of foods known to cause weight gain and/or potential health issues. These include many processed foods, sweets and sugars, junk foods, sodas, etc. You know the drill. And you also need to have sensible portion control. Having that two scoops of ice cream before bed EVERY night – not a good habit.

Many CrossFit affiliates prescribe to a strict Paleo diet – also sometimes known as the Caveman Diet or the Hunter Gatherer Diet. We have many members who follow a diet that is primarily Paleo and they have seen tremendous results, both in their energy levels, WOD performance and how their bodies look.

But there are many different nutritional approaches out there, such as a the Primal (almost Paleo, with a few less exclusions) and Zone diets.

We support any nutritional approach this is considered healthy and clean. One size does not fit all lifestyles. We are always willing to work with you on your nutritional goals and will assist and guide you with activities including:

  • Group challenges
  • Recipe sharing parties
  • Seminars at the box with outside experts
